Installation of a Guglatech fuel filter on the Acerbis long-range tank for the DR650
We're anticipating some pretty poor fuel quality on our journey to Kazakhstan, that's for sure. And even we've put inline fuel filters between the tank and the carburetor, it's even smarter to ensure that dirt and water in the petrol never make it into the tank in the first place.

*** Now sold by Purmotors To confirm the correct part, Guglatech asked to measure the inside and outside diameters of the tank opening and the tank cap. These measurements confirmed part M130_06-ARM.
Installation

Setting it up was a breeze; you simply pop the filter into the Acerbis tank. Easy as that! The filter cap is compact, so it won’t get in the way when you close the tank.
We have inline filters on our bikes as well as filters in the neck of the tank. The tank filters were quite cheap however, so will look at replacing them with what you guys are using. Great tip - thanks
